I know that I’m a bit late with this article but I thought I give it a try anyway. Simpsonize Me is a flash application that was created to promote the new Simpsons movie that was shown in cinemas earlier this year. What it does is that it transforms a closeup picture into a Simpsons character.
All you need is a closeup picture that has at least a size of 640 x 480 and some time to play around with the settings. You select gender, age, color (yellow is the way to go), clothing style and hair to begin the transformation. This is however not the end yet. If the picture is accepted you have the change to alter certain features of the new character.
You can adjust hair length, hairstyle, clothing and accessories to create a Simpson character the way you would like him. To give you a understanding of how the result can look like I took the liberty to transform a picture of myself. Feel free to post pictures that you have made in that thread.

It won’t work. Every time I try it says, “SORRY, TRY AGAIN LATER.”
it wont let me do it. idk whats wrong. it keeps telling me sorry try again later on. i have tried every pic that i have. i have been trying to do this for like a week now. still no progress made. =(
It just won’t work… everytime I load a picture, there is NOTHING there after i push the button simpsonize me. I’ve tried changing the jpeg size to the proper pixels and everything… the site sucks!
The sight sucks, it just gives you error messages and nothing happens, it blows
