I found a new list of proxy sites, 300 in total. Should be something for everyone and I suppose you find some that work in your environment. Head over to proxylist to check them out. Update: The web blog is no longer available on the WordPress website, and we have removed the link pointing to it as a result. Since we do not want to leave you standing in the rain without anywhere to go, we thought it would be nice to list another option where you can get web proxy lists.

Proxy.org is one of the longest standing sites in this regard. The website, at the time of writing, is listing more than 3100 proxies on its website. These web proxies use various scripts, which are indicated by the site. The second information that you get right away is the location for the majority of proxies.

You can use the form on the website to use a random proxy from the list, or select one of the proxies instead if you prefer a specific country or type of proxy.

You can also click on the Web Proxies link in the site header, to be taken to a page listing various top lists and links to proxy lists. Here you find the top ten proxies of the site, the most popular proxies of the last seven days based on visitors, and web proxy lists sorted by various parameters, including IP, ISP, Country or proxy software.

Please note that the top proxies listed by the site pay the site for that privilege. They in return get the best listing positions that is attracting the majority of users coming to the site searching for proxy servers. Proxies further down the line are not necessarily worse than the ones at the top. They even may be faster due to less users making use of them at the same time.
