IE7 just won’t open for me…I’m pissed. Have firefox but have to use both that and IE for schoolwork…

This tricks doesn’t works, maybe Microsoft knew this method and they changed their system.

Don’t you check this drivel before you post it?? Or is this just a rumor-mill site?
Before you make unfair assumptions you should provide more information. Which version of IE7 did you download, which language, did you delete the folder in application data ? did you really edit the host file, did you restart your computer afterwards ?
I always test before I write about something, this was tested with the IE7 version downloaded at http://www.filehippo.com/download_internet_explorer/

I was having problems with a different method of breaking it, which it did. explorer just stopped working but i had internet. so i found this did it, then installed and it accepted it with flying pirates.
ARRGH SO YE LEARN HOW TO INSTALL BEFORE COMPLAINING.
OH AND FOR YOU WHO DO NOT KNOW HOW TO EDIT THE FILE.. OPEN IT WITH NOTEPAD AND THEN YOU CAN TYPE WHAT THEY ARE TELLING YOU TO. :)

If you cannot download and install, I suggest the IE tab extension for firefox. Any page that cannot be veiwed will be available with IE tab.
