Many users never update their computer drivers after the initial setup. They are either unaware of the possibilities or do not see a reason to update the drivers. Many face the problem of not knowing how to update computer drivers on a system. The major problem for many is that there is no official way of updating all computer drivers in one go.

Computer driver updates are usually available on the homepage of the manufacturer from where they can be downloaded. Many new drivers fix stability issues, increase performance or add new functions that previous drivers did not offer.

3DP Chip is a free portable software program for Windows that displays information about the central computer hardware. It concentrates on the processor, mother board, video card, sound car and network adapter.

A click on the Driver button will open the website of the software developer containing a link to the latest computer driver made by the manufacturer of the hardware device. A check revealed that the latest drivers for all five components was available on the homepage.

Downloads are available directly for various Windows operating systems on the landing page which means that the software provides effective means to update the computer drivers.

Update: The program has been updated throughout all the years. An English site is now available  where you can download the latest version of the driver updater from. The program displays information about the installed hardware and driver version right on the start page. From here it is a matter of clicking on the items to open a website where the latest version of the driver can be downloaded directly.

Please note that the program installer contains an offer to install a third party tool which you need to decline if you do not want it installed on your system.  The program does not really inform you if updates are available which means you need to click through all links to see if updates are available.

I have used, from big firms, driver upgrade software before and the trashed allmost completley my, Windows, operating system. So now i think that the best way to upgrade is, to go directley to the concurning website an upgrade from there.

Everytime I’ve updated my hardware drivers, they stopped working or hangs with issues. I now leave them well enough alone until I need to update them for some specific reason.

It’s packed with Themida, some AV could detect it as a threat. Anyway…be careful on where you use this software.
