The disappeared deferral settings still missing.
Hold on to your butts…. :D
https://www.ghacks.net/download/152227/ gives me a Windows message saying the zip file is invalid. I am at Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18362.175] .
Should be fixed, sorry for that!
Nowadays 40plus serious vulnerabilities is as is nothing, dammit. I’ll say it again… I’d much prefer 6 months feature update and 6 months fixes only, not 2 feature upgrades per year.
By the way, on a clean installation of 1903, the update went fine and fast. And eventually they fixed the cleaning tool ( Disk Cleanup ) which I do after an update. It counted the update as 7,06GB and in 15 seconds already every cleaned up.
still waiting on the 1903 Update to hit Australians
Wouldn’t recommend waiting; that seems to be where users run in to trouble.
Take the time to use the Media Creation Tool and make an .iso of 1903–all of the newest updates should be included (or a third party tool, but recent news says they aren’t downloading the most up-to-date .iso’s–Adguard, Windows ISO Downloader, etc. How this could be, I do not know . . .).
One can then use a virtual DVD player for installation–Daemon Tools Lite?–, or one can copy to USB. Install on a running, working version of Windows 1809 and make sure to have it well-cleaned and a full image backup using something like Macrium.
When installing, uncheck “Check for updates now” and continue.
It’s so much easier than watching MS and the upgrade process.
In any event, best to have a recent backup image.
Advanced update options–defer to Semi-Annual, not targeted, Feature 180, and Quality 30.
All I’ve learned came from Ghacks.
I’m in Oz and still waiting for 1809!
No way am I going to manually check for updates or implement any other methods!
FYI Martin, there’s a small mistake:
Windows 10 (version 1903)
KB4503293 — 2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809
Thanks again for the news and have a good day!
Robert G.
Than you, copy and paste error ;)
Is there any way to completely disable updates on Windows 10 1809? Their ***ing updates ruin my business every time they automatically run, despite the Windows Updates service being disabled. It restarts my computer overnight with my business tasks running at that time, it just doesn’t care.
Yup.

New to W10 & Running 1903 WU I note inst’d June Cum update KB4503293, Flash, and MSRT. I cannot remember How / Where to address the 39 Importants indicated here for 1903. Clk’d on the “Category” heading in the Catalog & found it does change but 39 Importants still in Stealth mode.
Where are they? Together or scattered?
After upgrade 4503292 (this night), all my Apple computers (OS 10.10, 10.13 and 10.14) are Unable to See Window Server Or Shares.
Windows Server 2008
Mac OS 10.10.5
Mac OS 10.13.6
Mac OS 10.14.5
Nothing was changed from yesterday (and every fucking day from last 2 years)
I can ping the server by IP Address (OS terminal)
I am unable to mapped the shares manually either by servername or IP address in “go to server” on the mac using SMB://
I can see all pc, but server doesn’t work.
