Outlook.com gets Save to OneDrive feature

Microsoft is rolling out a new feature for its Outlook.com messaging service that adds options to it to save attachments to the company's OneDrive file synchronization and cloud storage service.
Online storage space can be quite useful at times. When you need to send someone files that exceed a certain size for example or want access to files from any device even third-party ones.
While there is usually a workaround available to use local storage, cloud storage can make certain operations comfortable.
Microsoft just announced a new feature for its Outlook.com email service that enables all users of it to save attachments to OneDrive.
The new "Save to OneDrive" option is listed underneath file attachments in emails. When you select one, you see it next to the download all as zip option that has been there for a while already.
Depending on the type of attachments, you may see other options such as view slide show if there are image attachments included.
The save to OneDrive feature saves all or select attachments to OneDrive with minimal effort. To save just one attachment, click on it and select the save option from the context menu to do so.
The option to share files stored on OneDrive has already been available for some time on Outlook.com. The company is not the first to introduce a cloud saving option as Google has been offering a similar option to save file attachments to Google Drive on Gmail for some time already.
All attached files can be added to OneDrive and unless you run out of space on the service -- which seems unlikely -- you will make them available on it so that you can access them from the website or apps that can connect to it.
The files are saved to the Email attachments folder on OneDrive which is created on first use if it does not exist already.
Storing attachments in the cloud adds a useful option to Outlook.com. While it may not be used all the time by the majority of users, it can improve file accessibility quite a bit considering that your previous options were to access Outlook.com on all devices that you wanted to access the files on or download them to a single device to distribute the files from it.
The roll out of the feature will be complete in a couple of weeks which means that some users may have access to it before others.

You said that Outlook isn’t your main email client, so which is your main one?
I think its thunderbird
It is Mozilla Thunderbird.
Awesome! This actually solved my problem… what a stupid bug.
If this is the same bug that I’ve encountered, there may be another fix: (1) hover over open Outlook item in Taskbar, cursor up to hover over Outlook window item, and right-click; (2) this should give you Restore / Move / Size / Minimize / Maximize — choose Move or Size; (3) use your cursor keys, going arbitrarily N/S/E/W, to try to move or size the Outlook window back into view. Basically, the app behaves as though it were open in a 0x0 window, or at a location that’s offscreen, and this will frequently work to resize and/or move the window. Don’t forget to close while resized/moved, so that Outlook remembers the size/position for next time.
THANK YOU Claude!!! I could get the main window to launch but could not get any other message window to show on the desktop. You are my hero!!!!
Solved my issue! 6 years later and this is still problem…
