AOMEI Backupper Professional is an easy to use yet powerful backup solution for Windows. Backups are important as they allow you to restore data that might otherwise be lost due to crashes, malware attacks or accidental deletes.

The backup solution supports backing up individual files and folders, partitions and entire disks, including the system disk with Windows installed. Restoration is straightforward and includes options to restore using bootable media.

Apart from backups, AOMEI Backupper Professional supports the cloning of disks, which may be useful to move the system to a new hard drive or entire new PC, and other advanced features, such as real-time file synchronization support.

The program is compatible with Windows XP and up. The license is lifetime and it includes updates.

i use the aomei one key recovery which helps me create a backup on my hard disk directly. it creates a recovery partition which saves me the hassle of reformatting my pc using a disk or usb. helps me too not to be disturb anymore by my friends and family asking for help to fix their computer. dont know if macrium has that feature. id be surprise to find out.

Aomei are based in Chengdu, China. I’d stay away from Chinese software, for obvious reasons…

I use Macrium Reflect Free for system images and SyncBackPro for file backups.

This is just like all the unfounded hate against Russians and Russian businesses. Just because the CCP is evil doesn’t mean literally every single Chinese person trying to make a living is towing the party line and actively trying to subvert the free world.

“And now their latest plot… tainting your data backups!” Come off it man. Trust takes years to earn, but can be lost in a day. Businesses exist to profit their owners, not to commit commercial suicide.

If Kaspersky was actually a Russian spy tool and there was actual proof, 25 years of hard work would end in a flash and there would be no recovering from that. Saying that AOMEI is a CCP sleeper program is like saying Macrium is secretly a GCHQ backdoor. See how ridiculous it sounds? And it’s not like native companies have ever sold out for foreign money. Nope, that has neeeever happened before.

Like any other country is better. I rather use AOMEI than that bloated POS Macrium Reflect. Backupper is much lighter and doesn’t add any useless services in the background.

Yes, other countries are in fact better and more importantly, not dictatorships. They don’t have a censored internet cut off from the rest of the world’s internet. They don’t have a network of facial recognition cameras watching every citizen’s move. They have at least some laws regarding personal privacy. Literally nothing coded or engineered in China is trustworthy. All of their companies answer to the immoral, genocidal CCP and many tech company CEOs are themselves party members.

As for Macrium, I have never had any issues with it. It runs well even on decade-old machines. I don’t like the background service either, but I do system image backups very rarely, so I simply uninstall it after I’ve done the backup. Still better than trusting China with my backups.

Do you use Google or any alphabet online service? Own any Apple device? Nothing personal, I am just curious about your point of view.
