Don’t use the UI. It leaks telemetry, and when I used it frequently disconnected. I just use OpenVPN by itself. Less processes, less system resources, far more stable. The recommended server was never correct. It would pick a server thousands of KM away when there were closer better servers.

Be warned though, most corporations hate VPN. PayPal will block transactions. Blizzard will ban you from games (I got banned from Hearthstone because I run a VPN). eBay doesn’t like them either. I haven’t been able to use google.com for years as it goes into a permanent captcha loop. But that’s not a bad thing.. DuckDuckGo is just as good imho.

I connect to the VPN at login. There are people here working from home who are required to use a VPN, yet corporations treat all VPN users as criminals.

You might want to regularly check in with whoer.net to see if your VPN server has been blacklisted. If it has been, some email providers, like gmail and outlook.com have from time to time blocked emails from those IPs.

I’ve been with NordVPN for 3 years. Much faster than some of the other big players (at least from where I am). But they don’t support obfuscated servers here.

ANY sensible financial organisation will block VPN’s as much as they can. Seriously, what do you expect?

Yanta , provide links to the telemetry leaks. I’ll bet you can’t.

You realise you can work from home and use the VPN tunnelling feature.

Nord has the worst ui imaginable. It constantly nags you with popups for updates and to change your password every few minutes. It now uses some kind of web interface to log in. I paid for 3 years but ditched it after 1 because I couldn’t stand the nagging, no way to turn it off.

      Also no issue with passwords.

I’ll also add NordVPN is the best VPN I’ve used.
      Stable, fast and doesn’t leak.

Upgrades are frequent, I agree, but that is not a bad thing. Never encountered any issues with the password.
