    Material Notes: Colorful Notes

was last updated 2016, and according to one review it truncates texts over 4400 characters.

I’ve never paid for one note, it’s like a free Evernote. Browser, app, exert, it’s all there. Been using it for 15 years (after Evernote changed from free) and never even been asked to buy anything from onenote (windows maybe…). Great note linking, infinite scroll, amazing search (not sure what your problems are), never ran out of my “limited space”, and can format similar to word (just not all the same keyboard shortcuts).

While not just for Android, I keep trying new Note-taking apps and keep coming back to Joplin.

So I just signed up for Evernote, and it does have an offline feature that seems to be for paid accounts.

Having tested every other product on this page, Evernote comes out on top for me but only for premium.

Onenote is number two as far as features, but their insistence on spying is ridiculous. Also, their text containers are annoying.

Correction: Simplenote does not have paid features. All features are free to use. There is an optional “Sustainer” subscription to help support ongoing development/maintenance of the apps and service, but it does not currently enable any additional features.
