Nokia Lumia 920, 820 pricing revealed
It appears that more and more companies release news about new products bit by bit nowadays. Microsoft for instance announced its Surface tablet devices running Windows 8 months ago, but has yet to reveal the pricing for the tablets. With about two weeks to go before the operating system launches, there is not really that much time left to do that.
Nokia too announced its Windows 8 powered devices more than a month ago, and has not revealed pricing information yet. The smartphones are expected to ship at the beginning of November in select countries after the October 29 launch of Windows Phone 8 by Microsoft.
For many, these devices can make or break Nokia. The company, in dire need of getting back on track market-share wise, is in desperate need of phones that are selling well. And most hopes lie on the cmpany's upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphones.
French news site Pr. Thibault has revealed pricing for Nokia's Limia 920 and 820 Windows Phone 8 devices and some accessories available for the phone. According to the information posted on the site, Nokia's flagship phone Lumia 920 will retail for €649 throughout most of Europe with the exception of Italy where it will be available for €599. The Lumia 820 will retail for €499 throughout Europe.
The selected price would place the Lumia 920 right between Samsung's top of the line models Galaxy 3 and Galaxy Note 2, and Apple's iPhone 5. Nokia's phone on the other hand ships with 32 Gigabyte of storage instead of 16 Gigabyte. The iPhone 5 with 32 Gigabyte of storage is sold for €789, with the Note 2 with 32 Gigabyte expected to fall into the same price range.
Pricing for the following accessories have been revealed as well. Most notably is the availability of three different charging pads using induction. The cheapest starts at €69.90, the most expensive one €89.90. The site notes that the prices are retail prices, and that it is likely that retailers will offer the accessories for a lower price than revealed on the blog.
Clove.co.uk revealed pricing for some Nokia Lumia 820/920 accessories in the UK which more or less fall in line with the price listing published on the French blog.

It needs to be noted that Nokia has not officially confirmed the prices yet, so that the information need to be taken with a grain of salt. No word yet on US pricing for the phones or accessories, and UK pricing for the phone.
I had hopes that Nokia would price the phone below the €600 Euro mark to make a statement. The current pricing could torpedo the company's attempt to regain lost market share by betting big on Windows Phone 8.The price, while reasonable for what is offered, may be too high to convince Android or iOS users to give it a try.

Im not surprised…you cant have a phone with those specs and features for a low price…at least its still cheap enough to be better velue then an iphone
From the start with WinPhone I think that it is insane try to copy Apple business model using worst technical and interface solutions.
So… this fail should be priced lower than any other device of the same class, because it’s just worse.
I want the 920 ( i mean i want it) but there is no way i will pay more than the iphone5 price.Fail ,nokia.
Can you not read? It’s not more expensive than the iPhone.
Consider the specs and ecosystem of the 920 vs the main competitor before your knee gets dislocated from sudden excessive movement.
That’s unless you just said that to get a rise.
