Intel's Raptor Lake Refresh lineup has been leaked
Intel's next desktop update, the Raptor Lake Refresh series, has been fully leaked together with Intel Core i9-14900K, Intel Core i7-14700K, and Intel Core i5-14600K, revealing full specs and pricing information.
According to leaked slides from HD Tecnologia, the Raptor Lake Refresh lineup will include six models, ranging from the Core i5-14600K to the Core i9-14900K. All of the CPUs will have the same price as their 13th-generation counterparts, making them a good value for consumers.
The new lineup is expected to offer a modest performance boost over the previous generation while maintaining the same prices. This makes it a good value for consumers, especially considering the high cost of other components, such as GPUs.
Intel Core i9-14900K specs
The flagship CPU in the lineup is the Core i9-14900K. It is a 24-core/36-thread processor with a base clock of 3.2 GHz and a boost clock of 6.0 GHz. It has 36 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 125W. The CPU is compatible with the LGA1700 socket.
The other CPUs in the lineup include the Core i7-14700K, which has 20 cores/24 threads and a boost clock of 5.6 GHz, and the Core i5-14600K, which has 14 cores/20 threads and a boost clock of 5.3 GHz.

How does it compare?
The Intel Core i9-14900K is expected to offer a modest performance boost over the Core i9-13900K while maintaining the same price. It is also expected to be more efficient than the previous generation, thanks to its new Intel 7 manufacturing process.
The Core i9-14900K is also expected to compete with AMD's Ryzen 9 7950X. The Ryzen 9 7950X is a 16-core/32-thread processor with a base clock of 5.0 GHz and a boost clock of 5.7 GHz. It has 64 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 170W. The Ryzen 9 7950X is expected to be priced at $799.
The best part is that the leaked image compares the performance of AMD's powerhouse CPU with Intel's upcoming i9-14900K:
The Raptor Lake Refresh CPUs are a good value for consumers, especially considering the high cost of other components, such as GPUs. The Core i9-14900K is the most powerful CPU in the lineup, and it is ideal for gamers and creative professionals who need the best possible performance. The Core i7-14700K and Core i5-14600K are also good options for gamers and creative professionals, but they offer a better price-to-performance ratio than the Core i9-14900K.
