Private Internet Access is one of the best VPN services in our opinion. The service ticks all the right boxes: it offers state of the art security and privacy protections, does not record user activity, supports P2P and advertising, malware and tracker blocking, runs more than 35,000 servers in 78 countries, offers great speed and no bandwidth restrictions, and lets you run the service on up to ten devices in all plans.

You can check out our guide on Private Internet Access' settings in its application to get the most out of it.

Currently, you may subscribe to Private Internet Access for just €1.84 if you subscribe for 3-years and you get 2 months extra on top of that; that is less than a coffee costs and it gets you 24/7 privacy and security protections on the Internet on all your devices. The service offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on top of that.

Fine print: make sure that you check out the specs and terms of the deal.

Martin, and others; you may want to check out the review and comments about PIA VPN on restoreprivacy.com. Company appears to be USA based.

Thanks Martin, looks like a great option
Is this a US based company?
I will consider subscribing as long as the company has NO China links, due to reasonable security concerns

Kape previously called themselves Crossrider, and they have history pushing ad/malware. Also worth noting; Kape (and formerly Crossrider) is owned by Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi who, aside from being an ex-con, made most of his money as the co-founder of Playtech, a company that makes gambling software. Sagi’s fellow co-founder and CEO of Playtech is Koby Menachemi, a former member Unit 8200 which specializes in surveillance, with ties to the IDF, NSA, and GCHQ. On the VPN front, aside from PIA, Kape also owns Zenmate and Cyberghost, while also owning the the parent company of review publications like vpnmentor.com and wizcase.com, which represents a huge conflict of interest.

Everything you said is a great endorsement. Successful and smart people are behind this product.

@Matti… this is exactly why I don’t use a VPN. Almost all VPN’s are ran by shady people who no one knows who they are.

There a a few (meaning I only need one hand to count em all) I’ve come across that do have a full list of staff and company legal details listed on their site, employ open source tools throughout their entire stack, and clearly state what gets logged and what doesn’t (because true zero-logging is a myth). Most of the rest are simply honeypots or components of a money laundering chain.
