I have been using the free version of GlassWire for many years.
I have also trialed “NetLimiter 4 64 bit” since 1 year ago.
Both have similar functions and are hard to put a superiority or inferiority. The difference is that the GlassWire user experience is better.
The free version of GlassWire is limited in functionality, so it is interested in the paid version,
but lacks the advantages over NetLimiter.
In addition, the amount of RAM and CPU load of GlassWire are not small.

A big discount (89% off) is attractive, but hesitate.

I still use it and confirm (on Win 8.1×64) …
      Glasswire (32 bits) : 55.1 Mo
Glasswire Computer Idle Monitor (32 bits) : 7.6 Mo
Glasswire Control Service (32 bits) : 98.1 Mo

I also used both, but ended in using NetLimiter.

      Reasons:
      • NetLimiter acts as an advanced firewall. Most consumer solutions are just Windows Firewall overlays – not standalone.
      • NetLimiter can limit the bandwidth of everything AND separate services/applications. Glasswire can only limit the whole device.
      • NetLimiter is cheaper and doesn’t require any subscription.
