I have been using PrivateInternetAccess for years ever since I learned about it here. The only thing I don’t like about this is that while on Android, if the wifi connection drops and comes back on multiple times, PIA will disconnect and leave you exposed without an alert. This even after you have set it to block connections if PIA is not active. Sucks when in commie infested locations.

@Dante, is it not possible to use their SOCKS5 in combination with the VPN? https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/helpdesk/kb/articles/do-you-have-a-socks5-proxy

I use Mullvad myself which has that option. https://mullvad.net/en/guides/socks5-proxy/

I´ve been using PIA for over a year now, and for normal usage, privacy and streaming online video it works very well, although I don´t have a Netflix subscription, some people in the forums complain that it doesn´t work with Netflix. I stream CWTV, NBC and Fox without any problem.
