Most sites and programs work for users from any country, only a few – like ABC – check the origin of a user and block access if he does not come from the allowed countries.

Most video websites contain the same content with tv shows being the most dominant factor. The mentioned softwares are those well known p2p interfaces that are mainly produced in Asian countries but feature US and European stations as well. It is actually very easy to use them and view live events such as big sport events.

I did not take a look at all the websites that have been mentioned but I would recommend some that have a nice interface or offer the most interesting shows.

  • ChannelSurfr -great interface, aggregates videos from sites such as dailymotion and youtube.
  • TV-Video.net – offers videos of well known tv shows such as Lost and Heroes.
  • WwiTv – Free television stations from around the world
