No Good Television

A word of caution before I start the article. If you are easily offended by strong language or a minor you should stop reading right now and read some other articles on my site. No Good TV is a Internet TV portal that looks and feels a lot like the Joost or Bablegum with the difference that No Good TV is a web application.

All you need is your browser to view the shows. The layout of the site is rather chaotic and it takes a while to get used to it – well, unless you like to watch MTV a lot. It really reminds me of the shows that are shown on MTV all the time these days. You can select to view various channels such as Down and Dirty, Dirty Music Videos or Reel Junkies.

Comparison of Joost and Babelgum

Babelgum and Joost are two services that try to deliver tv content to your computer using peer to peer technology. Both services seem to have the same aim to make the transition from watching shows on your television to watching shows on the internet as fluent as possible. There is no configuration involved, all that is needed is the Bablegum or Joost client and a broadband connection to the internet.

Orb is a free software that changes your pc into a streaming server. If the Orb software is running on the pc every other device that has internet such as the Nintendo Wii, a notebook or pda can connect to a website and view any media file that is shared on the streaming server. The setup is really simple. Download the Orb software and install it on the computer that you want to use as the server.

Watch Tv over Internet with Sopcast

There were lately some rumors about tvu player, the program that I normally use to watch tv over internet. The website was not reachable and everything seemed to go down the hill. I decided to take some precautions and test other tv streaming programs to see if any could reach the quality of the tvu player.

Another site that offers tv streams for free

Wow those sites seem to popup like nothing else at the moment. Everton from connected internet was writing about streamick and I decided to add an article of my own to give you an alternative to all those other streaming sites out there. Streamick offers more than 300 tv channels to choose from including BBC One, ESPN Starsports, CNN & several other news channels.

Watch hundreds of full tv shows, cartoons and anime

TV Links is a site I never heard about before. It has a big listing of many of the most popular tv shows, cartoon & anime series. The site lists the name of the shows and the number of seasons that they link to on their main page. If you click on a link a page with all links to all episodes that are available will load and all that is left to do is click on one of the links to be taken to a website that hosts the movie.

TVU Player 2.3 out

TVU Networks have quietly released a new version of their acclaimed TVU Player which makes it possible to watch many popular tv stations from the internet. You can watch channels such as ESPN, ESPN2, FOX, NBC, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central using TVU Player. It does not deliver the same experience than watching the shows on a big tv though. Due to limited bandwidth the channels look fine if you keep the output window small, if you go fullscreen it becomes pretty blurry.
