It does so by filtering links posted from that stream several times to come up with those trends in the end. These filters begin by the links that are posted on the Internet. These links are then again filtered by the users of Web Trend Maps and then analyzed to find out trends from those user links.</p><p>Here is a visual representation of the process:</p><p><img

Apparently only users who buy the Web Trend Poster for $49 can apply for a private beta invitation on the website. It is likely that this is going to change in the future. Users with an account can create their own maps. Everyone else is currently left with the information that are posted on the homepage of the service.</p><p>A click on any icon on the homepage will display trends posted by that specific user or website. Each link includes a small preview and the option to open the website to retrieve additional information about the topic. Interested users can visit the Web Trend Map website by following this <a
