href="http://www.ghacks.net/2008/05/16/virtual-girlfriend-bed/">virtual girlfriend article I present you another article that falls into the geeky but cute category. This time it’s Papercraft Toys by Cubeecraft, a website that is offering free papercraft model downloads that can bring a smile on the old and young.

Now this would not be that geeky if you would not be able to download models like Stormtroopers, the Master Chief, Kirby, NIN – Ghosts I-IV (!) or Mario. Each model is designed to fit on a standard piece of A4 letter paper and nothing is keeping you from creating your own army of Stormtroopers, Iron Mans or Batmans.

“Each toy features interlocking tabs for construction – eliminating the need for tape, glue or other messy adhesives. To download click on the model you would like then save the template image.”

<span

I think it’s a great idea that guarantees lots of fun. But, where’s Darth Vader and Boba Fett ?

Play around with binary toys

Cool

Entertainment

Operating Systems

Windows

Software

toys

Binary Toys is a simple executable file that will put one or more creatures on your desktop. The creatures look a bit like voxel (triangle shaped pixel) creatures, or perhaps some Tron characters and will happily trot around your screen to their hearts content. You can pick them up, drop them, throw them around, following the laws of physics, but they will move on their own, in an actually quite lifelike way.

There is absolutely no point to all this, but it is quite cool. The application could be a bit more advanced with perhaps an easy way to create your own creature, but if you just want some little dudes running around the screen it’s a great choice. I seriously hate any type of movement on my desktop, but I am using this as a sort of screensaver, for which it does very well.

<span

Have you ever wondered how you could spice up your sex life a little bit ? Then this tool is worth a thought.

The Toy company invented an sms-triggered blue-tooth vibrator, lets take a look at description of the product and some screenshots.

The Toy is a hi-tech vibrating bullet. Connected to a mobile phone with Bluetooth it becomes an intimate, silent connection between two lovers, regardless of distance. Custom designed for your pleasure, it is intelligent, sophisticated and invented for bliss.

The Toy is worn internally, linked to a mobile phone and controlled by sms text messages sent to the phone. Once read, the message is transported automatically to The Toy, which turns it into vibrations – with a huge range of movements, depending on what you have written. Just say what you feel, The Toy will do the rest.

In VMax mode, The Toy is also a manual vibrator with powerful and varied motions. A rechargeable battery gives sufficient energy to play all day. When you’re apart, The Toy is all you need.

I’ve already spotted a website selling the product for 349 Euros which is about 400$. If you are looking for a special gift for Christmas, why not this one, just make sure the present is not unpacked at Christmas eve with the rest of the family present.

Take a look at their website >thetoy.co.uk

Update: The Toy is still available for purchase on the Internet. The developers have added Android phone support recently supporting Android 2.1 phones and above. All other phone models listed on the mobile compatibility page are older models. It is however likely that newer phones may still be supported by the application.
