It takes another 12-24 hours before the build in update checker will notify the user about the available update of the email client. Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 is already available for download on the primary ftp server ftp.mozilla.org.

Downloads are provided for all supported operating systems and languages and it is only a matter of finding the right location. This can be confusing, here are a few direct links:

The new version can be installed as usual. There are no release notes yet, they will most likely be published later today on the Mozilla Thunderbird website.
