I think the new theme combines an excellent design with good readability. The theme will be tested in the coming days to see if problems of any kind are experienced while displaying the new Wordpress theme. This includes both factors that are experienced by the visitors of the website but also other factors like linking structure and monetization.

We would like to ask you to comment on the new theme and especially notify us if you encounter problems of any kind including page load errors, display errors and any other kind of error that is dampening your user experience. And we would of course like to listen to your opinion about the new theme.

What I loved the most was the inclusion of the fantastic ‘Gmail redesigned’ theme which changes the default Gmail look to a darker and more modern look.

Their was one disadvantage however… using any other Google service meant having to go back to the minimal and white Googley look which really doesn’t do a great deal for me.

Today however I saw on Lifehacker that the talented team behind the Gmail style have now released it for GCal as well, which is fantastic news.

You can see how much better it looks then the default style, and we can only hope that Google Reader is next on the list for getting this theme.

It doesn’t make any kind of difference to productivity, but it sure makes it a better experience to use.

It’s still in beta but you can download it here, you’ll need the Stylish extension as well. Lifehacker is saying it will be incorporated into the next update of the Better GCal extension.

The theme is designed to be redeveloped and modified by others to create more Gmail styles which is great news as there sure aren’t many around. You can check out the style sheet here.

The official thread from the developer’s is here and you can provide feedback and suggestions on the forums.

Now if someone could make it work for Opera that would be great!

The major problem for me was that somehow my Google Adsense earnings were cut in half. Now the strange thing about that was that the impressions of the Adsense unit were halved which definitely cannot be right. It could be that Google is having reporting issues and that those fell in line with the theme change which would be very unfortunate.

More likely though is that not all ad impressions are served in that theme which could either mean that I was hacked and someone else was making use of the other 50% of my impressions or that the theme was not delivering them properly to some browsers. I’m still investigating and hope that everything will turn back to normal with the old theme.

This would at least tell me that the new theme was somehow responsible for the drop. Just wanted to give you the heads up why the old theme is suddenly showing up again.

It smaller and more efficient than the old one using less images and other elements that slow down a website. Not everything is final as of now and if you encounter any problems let me know about them so that I can fix them.

It can be that the site will not be available for a while every now and then throughout the day because of the new theme. It takes a while to install everything the way I want it, hope you understand this.

I like to know what you think of the new theme. Better ? Worse ? Faster ? Slower ? Let me know please.

The theme is free for everyone who wants to use it as long as the link in the footer to my blog is remaining. The Wordpress theme is optimized to gain great exposure in the most popular search engines as well as monetized perfectly.

I really can say that because I tried a lot of advertising schemes and found the ones that are implemented in the theme to be the most rewarding ones. It is furthermore really easy to add other schemes or remove some that you do not want to use. I tried to keep the theme as ad free as possible while being able to create huge revenue from it.

If you have any questions or suggestions post them here in this thread or in the thread that details the instructions on how to setup everything properly. You can download the theme there as well.

There are still a few minor glitches here and there which I have to take care of but it should be pretty solid as of now.

If you have complaints or want something changed let me know and I will gladly consider changing it depending on how many users would like a change. The theme will be released to the public soon which is a great opportunity for anyone who wants a ad and seo optimized script with a lots of plugins implemented already.
