My hotel is just next to T Centralen (Main Station) and it is only a few hundred meters to the Old Town with the King’s palace and many other remarkable buildings. Most stores were closed yesterday which was rather unfortunate.

My suggestion would be to not reside directly in Stockholm during Midsummer. You sure see a lot of tourists but that is it. The sun is shining today and it will hopefully a more pleasant day. We had some heavy rain yesterday evening which made our visit to Skansen a wet experience.

I will be staying another night and head back home tomorrow morning which means I will be on my daily schedule again at that time. I probably begin writing again tomorrow evening but this depends on my mood.
