Rapidshare Manager on the other hand is providing an alternative solution. It’s only working with Rapidshare Premium Accounts and the Rapidshare Password and Username have to be entered during login to be able to access the files that have been uploaded.

The software is in early beta currently which becomes obvious during login because the login window was kinda messed up. The files that have been uploaded using the Rapidshare Premium Account are listed after logging in.

The files can be sorted in various ways like file name, size or last download. One nice feature is the ability to delete multiple files at once.

Several additional useful features are information about the Rapidshare account, exporting Rapidshare Links from selected files and IMDB support.

Rapid leech

Open Source

rapidshare

rapidshare tools
<guid

You need of course a server or web space to install the script and run it from that location.

Rapidleech currently works with rapidshare.de, megaupload.com, mytempdir.com, webfile.ru

When you run it you simply add a url with the file, have the option to include comments which sometimes contain the password for protected files. In the next page you have the option to send it to you email, use a proxy and select a save folder where the file should be saved. Lastly it contains a filemanager which is basically a list of all downloaded files with comments (if you enabled them)

If you have a server take a look at rapidleech

Update: The developers have improved the script considerably in recent years. It now works with 45 different file hosting services including the ones mentioned above plus other high profile services such as Depositfiles or Easy-Share.

The script supports plugins which can extend the functionality significantly. The project since then has moved over to Google Code where the latest version of the script can be downloaded. The old website is still partially functional though, but downloads and updates are now posted on Google Code only.

Users who do not have a server at their disposal can sign up for Rapidfree servers that come setup with everything one would need to get started right away. These servers come at a cost though and it is highly suggested to compare prices and reliability before signing up for any of those services.

A good starting place for additional information about Rapidleech is the Wiki and the official forum.
