Most users have experience stuck print queues with undeletable print jobs. This can be very frustrating for the user as there is no apparent way of fixing that problem. Many inexperienced users uninstall and install their printers again to be able to print. Experienced users tend to know that it often helps to disable the print service and enable it again after deleting the stuck print job (read: <a

It displays a basic interface that provides information about the state of the print service of the Windows operating system with buttons to stop, start and restart it immediately. The left side of the program contains the option to clear a stuck print queue forcefully in case the restarting of the print service is not yielding the desired result.

<img

The personal edition of the print management software has a few limitations compared to the commercial software but it provides enough functionality to make it worth the installation.

The print management software displays the local and remote printers along with connected domains in the main interface. The status of each printer and the assigned print jobs are displayed next to each printer which provides a great overview. Selecting a printer in the left menu will display the print jobs with information about the name, computer, document and status of each print job.

A right-click on a print job will provide options to cancel, resume, restart and preview among other options. The print management software will display print job information such as the number of pages and copies, time and date, paper size, duplex mode and position in the queue among other information with the option to edit the properties of each print job.

<span

A click on the Resources tab will display information about ports, drivers, forms, monitors and processors. It is possible to configure print servers and ports with the print management software. It is for instance possible to open the driver’s manufacturer website to download drivers to add but also remove them.

Stalled Printer Repair

Software

Windows

portable software

print jobs

print queue

print software

printer

printer tips

stalled print jobs

stalled printer repair

stuck print jobs
<guid

It happens that a print job gets stuck somehow. Sometimes these print jobs cannot be deleted from the print queue. The consequence is that all later print jobs will be blocked by the stuck one.

We already mentioned how you can manually deal with stuck print jobs which basically involved stopping the Print Spooler service in Windows and deleting the stuck print jobs manually in the Windows directory.

Disabling and enabling the Print Spooler service and deleting files is definitely not the most comfortable way of dealing with stuck print jobs. The portable software Stalled Printer Repair (via Instant Fundas) offers a one-click solution to the problem. This is good news for everyone who has to deal with stuck print jobs regularly on his computer system.

<span

A click on the Purge Print Job button will delete all stalled print jobs on the computer system so that the printer queue and printer can be used again on the computer.
