href="http://www.youtorrent.com/">Youtorrent is a website that provides a great search interface that provides access to several torrent website databases. The Youtorrent team decided to put the website up for sale though lately in a surprising move. The website which lately received up to 10 Million visitors per month was never monetized before. Still that’s not the only change to Youtorrent that was announced.

The Youtorrent team removed searches for all Torrent websites that would only index legal and free torrents. The move is somewhat surprising because this change will surely reduce the amount of visitors tremendously. Youtorrent currently indexes seven torrent websites including Legaltorrents, Bittorrent and vuze but fails to index the more popular torrent websites like The Pirate Bay.

This might be more appealing to possible buyers but those buyers on the other hand surely notice that traffic will decline with the removal of those torrent websites. Who will buy a website with a uncertain future traffic level ? Alternatives to Youtorrent are Pizzatorrent</a and Looktorrent for example.

<span

Let me know about them.

Search for Torrent Files with Pizzatorrent

Cool

Entertainment

Music and Video

Online Services

Search Engines

bittorrent websites

Pizzatorrent
<guid

Now and then a new one pops up and you head on over to check it out.

Pizzatorrent is the latest in a long line of torrent search engines. An initial glance at the site pulls up an interface much like popular search engine Youtorrent albeit in a different colour. Searching pulls up the same results as Youtorrent. But then that is to be expected since the two sites search the same torrent sites like PirateBay, IsoHunt, Mininova etc.

One difference with Pizzatorrent is that you can categorize search results. Therefore, torrents can be further segregated depending on the nature of the files they lead too. This is useful if you are looking for a file of a particular type such as software, video, etc.

I’d say Pizzatorrent is worth a lookup and the categorization of files is somewhat helpful. However, the site does not really offer anything radically different from other torrent search engines so I would not call this one special.

How did you like Pizzatorrent? Do you know of any other torrent search engines? Which one is your favorite? Let me know.
