Among them are the online services Rasterbator and Block Posters, as well as the desktop application Poster Printer for the Windows operating system. Why would someone want to do that? Reasons to print images on multiple pages are to print the image in its native resolution and to create a larger printout of the image, for instance to use it as a poster.

The main thing that the photo printing software Image Print Wizard adds to the table is that it does not take longer than 20 seconds to print an image on multiple pages. The program separates the process into three steps. The image that needs to be printed on multiple pages is selected in the first step. This simply opens a file browser to pick the image from the local system.

<img

Here it is possible to define the print mode and scale. Available print modes are printing based on the image size or to fit or stretch the image to page.

Image Size: Image is printed with exact size calculated using image size, image resolution and current printer resolution. Scale is used for changing target image size.

Fit to page: Image is centered on the page with maximal possible size without distortion. Scale is used for changing target image size. With the scale set to more than 100% image will be cropped by page margins.

Stretch to page: Image is stretched to the entire page with potential distortions of proportions. Scale parameter is not used

<img

It is possible to select a page count between 1 and 10 or create a custom page count for the printout.

<img

It is available for download at the developer website.

ID Card Photo Printing

Software

Windows

id

id card

id card photo

id printing

photo printing

print photos

printer

printing

printing software

windows software
<guid

The ID photo has to be on the computer system and can be loaded directly into the ID card photo printing software. Once the photo has been loaded it is possible to select the number of photos per page that shall be printed. The maximum number of photos per page is 30.

A click on the Print Now button will send the print job to the local printer so that the ID card photo can be printed the selected amount of times on the page.

There is not anything special about this printing software and the same effect could be initiated by almost any software that can display images and provide printing possibilities. The main advantage of using ID card photo printing software is the ease of use. It does not take longer than a few seconds to start the print job whereas it usually takes longer to do the same in non-specialized software programs.

<span

It can be downloaded directly from the developer’s website and requires that at least one printer is installed on the computer system.

Photo Cropping With JPEGCrops

Software

Windows

digital camera

jpeg crops

photo cropping

photo printing

photo software

portable software

resize photos

windows software
<guid

An easy way to change the image format is to use photo cropping software like JPEGCrops. The software program comes as a portable or installer which essentially work the same way.

Photos can be loaded into the main interface. Each photo is displayed as a thumbnail with its resolution and DPI next to it. Images can be rotated by 90% and the aspect orientation can be changed between landscape and portrait mode.

The most important option however is the ability to change the photo’s resolution in various formats from centimeters to inches. Since it is possible to batch load photos it is also possible to change the aspect of all those photos at once. This is efficient if all photos that have been loaded into the application have the same resolution.

<span

The photo cropping software is extremely easy to use. It can process hundreds of photos in a matter of seconds.
