Pandora.com made the decision to stop streaming music to users who are not living in the United States. To be able to do this they implemented a script that checks the IP address of every user connecting to the server and if that IP happens to be located outside of the United Stats of America you will not be able to connect to the streaming client anymore. Pandora already updated their FAQ section to reflect this changes, here is what the entry said:

Delivery of Pandora is based on proper licensing from the content rights holders – we have always believed strongly in honoring the guidelines as determined by the artists, labels and publishers. In the U.S. there is a federal statute called the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that provides this license for all the music you hear on Pandora. Unfortunately, there is no equivalent license outside the U.S.

A tiny note on the frontpage is stating that “Pandora is currently for US listening only” which is another blow into the faces of music lovers. Pandora surely did not decided for themselves to limit their services which leads to the question why the Music Industry is trying everything to stop people from listening to music which they probably would have bought. But you won’t buy something that you don’t know, don’t you think ? Did not think the Music Industry could get any lower than they already are. They apparently can.
