Many companies and organizations use Microsoft Outlook as a central communications platform. The Outlook Performance Reports Generator can generate four different reports:

Message amounts
Message bandwidth
Sender
Recipient

Each report is combined with a selection of Microsoft Outlook folders and a time range and time interval. It is for example possible to create reports for the total message bandwidth of the inbox folder of a selected month, year or week and display the results by hour or days of week.

Message amounts and message bandwidth take all messages into consideration while the sender and recipient reports only outgoing or incoming messages. Some possible scenarios where reports might make sense are the following:

Calculating the average bandwidth requirements per week / month / year
Displaying the hours of the day and days with the least and highest number of incoming emails
Comparing the incoming to outgoing email ratio
