Open Movie, what does that mean ? It means that the movie has been created with open source tools and that all production files are available under a creative commons license. Graphics and sound of Elephants Dream look incredible but the story is somewhat confusing. I guess the movie aims more towards a presentation of what can be done with open source tools which is fine with me.

ABC started their streaming service on their website today. Users from the USA are able to watch episodes of Lost, Desperate Houswives, Alias and others right from the website. Unfortunatly they check your IPs origin and decline access if the whois turns out to be from outside the USA. But as always, there is a way around this restriction.

Well google video has finally a top list of the best rated videos that they host. There is not much to say about this, just the fact that positions might change on a daily basis so be prepared to find different movies in the top 100 every day. If you´re on broadband and have some time at hand visit the google video page and watch some of the movie clips offered there. Always good for a laugh..

We all know the numa numa kid who got pretty famous for singing the song on his webcam. Unfortunatly for him it was recorded somehow and spread lightning fast on the internet. I present you ten more homemade music videos that are probably not as good as the numa numa kid but still worth a download.
