While I have never played those games on Facebook, it appears as if players need to click the mouse as fast as possible in various situations like harvesting or fishing. Speed Clicker saves your mouse trigger finger from tiring out. It also gives you an advantage in those games which many will see as cheating, especially when competing against other humans in the game.

But Speed Clicker users can utilize the program for other purposes as well. For instance in other games where clicking performs an action that needs to be repeated a lot of times, or applications where selections are made with mouse clicks rather than entering a number or value with the keyboard.

When you fire up Speed Clicker for the first time, you see the main application window in front of you. Here you define the click rate and the variance. The default click rate speed is set to ten clicks per second. The variance value will move the mouse cursor into a random direction after each click.

You activate the computer aided clicking with a tap on the Ctrl key on the keyboard. It is currently not possible to change the hotkeys which is unfortunate as they interfere with other hotkeys on the computer (for instance Ctrl-T to open a new browser tab). The developer has however announced plans to integrate the option in a future release of the program.

Here is a short video that is showing it in action in the popular FarmTown game.

The application requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 on the computer. Interested users can download the latest version of Speed Clicker <a

And while that may make sense to avoid confusion, it may also mean more mouse movement on the screen as you cannot just move the mouse beyond an edge so that it reappears at the opposite end.

That certainly would add some confusion (where is the mouse pointer) but also reduce mouse movement throughout the day.

Unlimited Mouse is a free program for the Windows operating system that enables that feature. The application is a portable software that can be executed directly on the system.

The functionality that the program provides becomes available immediately afterwards. You can now move the mouse through the edge of the left screen to make it reappear on the right. This works for all four screen edges and directions.

You’ll probably feel a bit dizzy in your first session with the new functionality as you may not be used to the cursor making big jumps on the screen.

You can not only move the mouse cursor from one edge of the screen to another, but also windows or files that you have selected and started to drag around.

I do not have a second computer monitor, and cannot say therefor if the program is multi-monitor compatible. If you test this, let me know in the comments please.

The program displays an icon in the Windows system tray on launch. A right-click displays options to lock or unlock the mouse. Locking means that you cannot move the mouse from one edge to the other.

Windows 7 users may notice that some of their operating system’s functionality, like the Aero Snap feature, stops working once Unlimited Mouse has been started. It is still possible to use the Windows+cursor key shortcut for the functionality though.

Windows users can download Unlimited Mouse from the developer website. The program is compatible with all recent 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Windows operating system. (<a

When that’s the case, special software for people with disability comes to the rescue. These programs often emulate mouse and keyboard, for instance with head movement or eye pointer software.

A free program in this regard, best used in combination with the above, is Clikka Mouse. The program can be used to emulate mouse actions at the position of the mouse cursor. Supported by the mouse emulation software are several actions, from left-, double-, right- and middle-clicking to dragging and dropping the target to a new location.

The program needs to be installed before it can be used. It places a small bar at the left side of the screen that hides automatically when it is not selected by the user (this is done by moving the mouse pointer on the bar area).

A click on one of the emulated actions makes it the active action so that it becomes possible to use mouse actions without using the mouse at all.

The program interprets the user’s movement and will initiate the action when the movement stops. Lets take the left-click action as an example. A left-click is simulated after selection whenever you stop moving the mouse on the screen. A tolerance value in the program’s settings determines the click target.

You basically move the mouse and the program does the clicking for you. The same principle applies to all other mouse actions the program offers.

Clikka Mouse could use shortcuts to make the selection process easier, especially for users who switch between actions regularly (and if it is only between left-click and no mouse action).

Windows users can download Clikka Mouse Free from the developer website. The program is compatible with all recent 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.

PointNLaunch, Mouse Application Launcher

Software

Windows

mouse software

windows software
<guid

This is usually done by displaying an application window in which programs can be started. They are more flexible than shortcuts on the desktops or the start menu. PointNLaunch is an application launcher that displays the applications around the active position of the mouse cursor in Windows.

The software supports a total of eight different programs or websites, that can be configured in the program’s settings. PointNLaunch comes preconfigured with links to programs like Internet Explorer, Notepad, the Calculator or Windows Explorer, all of which can be changed to more appropriate programs if necessary.

Applications can be replaced with the Edit button, which displays a selection menu to change the current app to a program or website link. The properties of each item, including icons, names or arguments can be configured in the Edit menu as well.

pointnlaunch

The preview area outlines how the applications and websites are presented to the user on execution. They are basically shown as a circle around the mouse cursor position.

The activation tab in the settings defines how the application launcher is triggered. Pressing both mouse buttons at the same time will trigger the application launcher by default. This can be changed to the middle mouse button, or a special mouse button if supported by the mouse.

application launcher

It is usually best to set the launcher to one of the special buttons of the mouse, as the two other options interfere with standard mouse functions. The left and right mouse button launch option for instance displayed not only the application launcher menu, but also the right-click menu in Windows, or the active program.

PointNLaunch offers fast access to several applications and websites. It is configurable enough to avoid interference with the operating system, and offers greatest flexibility by linking the launcher to the mouse cursor. It could do with additional applications.

The program requires the Microsoft .net Framework 4.0, and the developer has unfortunately decided to distribute the framework with the application, which increases the size of the download noticeably. A download is provided at the developer website, alternative download locations are <a

Many of the features can be set in the system tray but some are only available in the ini file directly that comes with the software program.

The software developer lists a total of 18 features that the application is providing of which 16 are working on all supported operating systems and 2 exclusively on Windows 2000. Here is a short overview of some of the interesting features of the software program:

Scrolling in inactive windows

Changing window transparency

Roll up windows

Set top most status of windows with right-click

Alt Right-Click mouse only alternative

You find a complete list of features in the readme provided by the author. The most impressive aspect of the software is the low memory footprint of just 2.5 Megabytes and the fact that every feature can be turned on or off.

Update: DeskAngel has been in development ever since our first review. The program has been updated many times in the past years with new features and improvements.

The feature set now includes additional features, from locking windows over turning off the monitor to simulating the Windows key and auto scrolling documents under the cursor even if the document window is not active.

<img

It now features an edge snap feature which is very similar to the Aero Snap feature of the Windows 7 operating system.

Lastly, an assortment of miscellaneous features has been added, from creating screenshots by drawing a rectangle on the screen over translation of text to automatically connecting to remote PCs in a local area network.

Interested users can download DeskAngel from the developer website. The portable software is compatible with all recent versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.

AltMove Windows And Mouse Manager

Software

Windows

mouse software

portable software

windows management

windows software

AltMove is a portable software for Windows that extends the interaction possibilities between windows and the computer mouse. It adds seven new actions to various keyboard and mouse combinations. Among them interesting options like creating a screenshot of the active window with right Ctrl and a left mouse click, minimizing or maximizing windows by pressing the right mouse button and dragging it down or up, or changing the transparency of a window by pressing the right mouse button and dragging the mouse to the left.

All seven default actions can be turned off in case they are not needed or interfere with existing applications. It is also possible to change the action by assigning different keys and mouse buttons / movements to it.

One of the main features of AltMove is the creation of new actions. A new action can be created by selecting a template from ten available ones. Among them hiding windows, emulating keystrokes or making screenshots.

A click on ok will load the selected action in the main interface. The user has to assign one key and a mouse button for the new action which becomes active immediately afterwards. Some of the features, like moving or resizing windows, ignore restrictions which means that it is possible to resize windows that are usually not resizable.

The middle mouse button is by default assigned to the magnifier which unfortunately interfered with the middle mouse click in Firefox. It was however no problem to add a key to the magnifier.

Update: The program has been updated several times by the developer ever since it was first released in 2008. New versions include support for multi-monitor PC systems, new actions document actions and a redesigned user interface. The program is compatible with all recent 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system.

KatMouse Mouse Wheel Enhancements For Windows

Software

Windows

mouse

mouse scroll

mouse software

mouse wheel
<guid
