Your character is equipped with a glock like handgun in the first two levels, after that you get a shotgun and in later levels even better weapons. Zombies are scarce in the first levels but become more frequent in later ones.

Zombies behave rather mindless, just heading in your direction, you need to shoot them from a distance, if they come to close its game over and you need to restart the level. (at least not the game).

Game play is divided into night where you have to defend your hideout against zombie hordes, and day time where you can seek to find survivors, better weapons and supplies that you will need to cope with the attacks at night.

You play the game with the keyboard and mouse. You move your character with WASD, reload your active weapon with R, switch to another weapon with Space, and aim and shoot with the mouse.
