You might remember that I was looking for a program to set global shortcuts to reserved keys like F1-F12. Winlauch is a program that can set global shortcuts and comes very close to fulfilling my wish. But let me start at the beginning. It’s relatively easy to set specific shortcuts in Windows that are recognized [...]

Ten Windows Keyboard Shortcuts I cannot live without
When I’m helping friends and family members who are not that tech savvy with their computers I always notice that they do not use keyboard shortcuts. Instead of doing the plain old CTRL C, CTRL V to copy and paste selected text they use the mouse to do that. Thinking about this for a while [...]

Quicklaunch for Tools with keyboard shortcuts
Quicklauncher is a freeware application for Windows that gives you fast access to selected programs either by clicking on them or defining keyboard shortcuts for them. The tool itself is entirely in German, I´am not sure if there is an english version available as well. Right click on the upper drop down menu to add categories to quicklauncher. You can use the same way to add additional categories to quicklauncher.
Windows Keyboard shortcuts
This little list might be helpful for some windows users. It is a detailed listing of windows keyboard shortcuts that most people don´t use because they simply don´t know about them. I´am not using many as well except maybe Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste the copied content and Alt+F4 to close a window. Shortcuts are a great way to work faster. The list is not complete but contains about 40 shortcuts.
