That&#8217;s probably the worst scenario for any iPhone user who tinkered with the phone trying to unlock it.</p><p>Those users might be in for a surprise though because the new official firmware released by Apple seems to be able to resurrect a bricked phone. It seems that the original firmware, the bricked one, is overwritten by this new update.</p><p>The Apple iPhone Firmware Update v1.1.3 was applied by putting the iPhone into recovery mode, connecting it to iTunes and restoring / upgrading it. The phone hat to be activated in iTunes afterwards and was working fine after restarting the iPhone.</p><p><a
