The latest trends in the United States of America seem to be to create TV Channel portals offering streams of tv shows for authorized users. The other trend seems to be to push pay per bandwidth Internet which does not really match that well if you ask me. So, this time it’s HBO with the announcement that a service called HBO on Broadband will go live tomorrow for subscribers living in the Wisconsin area with plans to expand the services later this year.
How to download and view Bittorrent Videos in Miro
I had a second look at Miro some days ago. Miro is a Internet TV client, some use the term Videocast player, but that’s not really what it is all about. Miro can play Video feeds of course but it can do more. It plays videos from video sites like Youtube and Dailymotion and downloads those videos to your hard drive so that you can watch those videos anytime you want without connecting to the Internet.

It has been a long time ago since I last reviewed the TVU Player, a popular software that streams TV to your computer, most call it Internet TV. I decided to download the latest version and see what has changed since my last review and I can promise you that some of the changes are really exciting.

Taking another look at Joost
It has been a few months since I used Joost for the last time and I thought it would be a good time to take another look at Joost considering the announcement that they would go live at the end of the year with almost one million beta testers. A post at the Cybernet Blog also called my attention where Ashley asked if someone was actually still using Joost.
