Upgrading to Wordpress 2.3
I finally made the switch to Wordpress 2.3 after pondering for a little while if I should upgrade this early or wait until I was sure that everything would be still working after the switch. The major problem that I saw was the new tagging system that was build into Wordpress 2.3 which was incompatible with the tagging system of the prior versions and especially with the plugin that I have been using for over a year: Simple Tagging.
Ghacks Two Year Anniversary
What began as a blog to promote a software that a friend of mine has written turned to be into something bigger – much bigger. I never thought about the possibility to make a living from blogging in the beginning but I can tell you that much: it is possible to do that.
Group Project: The Ultimate Tech Blog Listing
How many good tech blogs are out there ? What would you guess ? I’m always astonished to discover a new blog that I never heard before only to realize that I must have living behind the moon to not know it. This happens quite frequently and I add new blogs daily to my ever expanding list of feeds in Netvibes.

I thought it would be time for a little in between competition before the big bang competition that will be held in October. In this one everyone can participate by sending in a story. This can be anything that I would publish on Ghacks myself including: Games, Hardware, Gadgets, Software, Security, Internet, Services, DRM and entertaining stories.
Today is my birthday
I just wanted to let everyone know that I was born today, 33 years ago and decided to make a short trip with my family to Berlin to enjoy some wonderful days and nights in Germany’s capital. It was a wonderful time and I had the chance to discover some new great places in Berlin. The Indian restaurant at the Wilhelmsstr near the Brandenburg Gate for instance was fabulous.
