I’m ready to celebrate the first anniversary of my website in less than four weeks with you. Without you this site would ne nothing, what good is a blog that no one reads, that no one comments on ? I would like to tell you more about yourself, as stupid as it sounds – I took a long glance at my sites stats and will present some interesting figures, believe me.
Ghacks first Anniversary Competition
Our first anniversary is approaching fast and I thought it would be a nice idea to have a competition to celebrate this event. I hope we see lots of people participating in the competition. Let me give you a rough overview of what I have in mind:
New Design
I created a new design for my baby and would like to know how you like the new look of my site. Do you miss something from the old design or like something from the new one ? Would you like some additional features at ghacks ? Do you have other wishes that I could try to make true ?
Move finished
We successfully moved our website to our new dedicated server. Everything seems to run fine for now, but as we all know problems normally start when we lack the time to fix them :)

update to hosting situation
Just to let you know, the rootserver is up and running and I´am currently configuring it. It will take some days probably until ghacks.net has finally moved but I think its worth the wait. I won´t update ghacks today and maybe tomorrow because of this.
To much load
Yesterday the site was taken offline for some hours because it caused to much load for a hosted site. I would have wished godaddy would have contacted me before they put it offline but unfortunatly they did not.
I´am trying to find a dedicated server which will easily handle the load and give us more options. This will take some days and its quite possible that godaddy will permanenty suspend the hosting account in that time.
Goolink Scanner Beta Preview 2
