I naturally prefer the latter one and this is the reason why I’m writing this post right now. Do you have any ideas or thoughts on what kind of competition I could run to celebrate that day ? I was thinking of something that would both benefit the blog and the readers. One suggestion that came to my mind was to name the three articles that you liked the most.

There will be prices of course and the new theme will hopefully be ready as well. So, if you got any ideas let me know so that October the 3rd will be a remarkable day for all of us.

I will then draw five users from all stumbles and send them each $10 to their paypal account. Your chance is doubled if you stumble two sites which is the maximum that I accept. The competition ends in exactly one week from now on the 9th of June. Make sure you use the contact form to send me the following information:

• the pages that you stumbled (urls)
• your username at Stumbleupon
• your paypal email in case you win a price

Let me explain how you stumble articles. You do need a free account at Stumbleupon and the Stumbleupon toolbar. (I hide the toolbar most of the time and only activate if when I want to stumble pages).The toolbar displays a thumbs up icon which is equivalent to saying that you like the site.

If the site has not been stumbled before you are asked to add it to a category and add tags to it if you like. (two – three tags are fine) and write a short review. A review could be anything from “great tech blog” to a larger review. Stumbling two pages takes approximately 2 minutes.

If this works out well I will be holding a similar competition every month. Instead of using the thumbs up button you can also use the “Stumble it” button beneath every post at ghacks.
