It does depend on the program though. Some of the comfortable programs that we have reviewed in the past include the file hosting upload manager File & Image Uploader and File Uploader.

Multi Uni Uploader is another program for that purpose. The free software supports dozens of different file hosts, including popular choices such as Imageshack, Hotfile, 2Shared, Mediafire or Easyshare.

The application displays all controls in the main interface. Actually, the only other menu available is the about menu. Everything else is handled in a single window.

To upload files, the user picks one of the supported file hosting services. It is possible to pick a single hoster from the list, or a service like MultiUpload, which distributes the file to multiple hosters. For some file hosters, the file type needs to be specified before the upload. The app displays the supported file types of the selected hoster in the log area.

Only single file uploads are supported. Files are added via the browse menu. Multi Uni Uploader will automatically calculate the MD5 hash of the file. A click on Start Upload sends the file to the hoster. Links are automatically retrieved and displayed in the interface so that they can be copied easily to the clipboard. This can be done manually, or by clicking on the CP button in the interface.

Multi Uni Uploader is an easy to use software to upload files to file hosters on the Internet. Some features would make the program more interesting, like abilities to batch upload files, configure proxy and connection settings or a history to keep track of uploaded files.

The portable software is available at the developer’s homepage over at Blogspot..

File And Image Uploader Revisited

Software

Windows

file host

file uploader

image host

image uploader

portable software

windows software

File And Image Uploader back in 2009 for the first time and found it to be a very comprehensive and useful tool to upload files and images to file hosts on the Internet. Many things have changed since our first review of the portable software program which is why we have decided to take the opportunity to review the latest version of the program which has been released a few days ago.

File And Image Uploader currently supports 280 working hosting services on the Internet of which 207 are file hosts, 24 image hosts, 7 video hosts and 42 all purpose hosts. That’s a large number of sites that is made up of popular services such as Rapidshare, File Factory or Depositfiles and lesser known services such as Gigasize or Hamster Share.

The program is provided by the developer as a free version. A version for registered users and a premium version are also offered. Registered users get a key if they donate at least $3 via PayPal while the premium version is limited to business users.

The benefits of those two versions are additional file hosts that are supported as well as higher data transfers per day. The free version is for instance good for a maximum of 10 Gigabytes of data per day while the registered version supports up to 50 Gigabytes of traffic. Take a look here for all the differences between the program versions.

Files can be uploaded with just a few clicks. Icons in the program’s toolbar can be used to add files or folders. This opens the file and folder selection screen and after that a new window where the file host the selected files should be uploaded can be selected.

The program lists the files in its main interface afterwards along with transfer speeds and a progress bar. A right-click on any entry opens a context menu with options to pause or queue downloads as well as select another host where the file should be uploaded to.

1) Buttons for adding files to the queue and for adding all files from a folder
2) Buttons for starting upload and for re-uploading selected files
3) Buttons for stopping selected uploads in progress, for finishing uploads (all uploads in progress will be finished and no new uplods will be started) and for immediate stop of all uploads
4) Opening of a settings window
5) Moving of a selected file up/down in queue
6) Menu for files in queue, queue for upload = the file will be uploaded paused upload = the file will not be uploaded until user allows it
7) It is possible to add files via “drag&drop”
8) Tabs – links, history, stats, news

The log at the bottom lists the url of each file that has been uploaded with right-click options to copy the url or open the file directly in Internet Explorer.

Available file hosting accounts can be added in the application’s settings. It is here possible to add accounts for more than one hundred different file hosts so that these accounts can be used when uploading files to the Internet.

File And Image Uploader supports several services that upload files to multiple file hosts at once, among the Gazup.com, Uploadjockey.com and Koooraup.com

File And Image Uploader is an excellent software program for users who regularly upload files or images to file and image hosts. The program is portable and compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It can be downloaded from the developer’s website.

File Upload Software

Software

Windows

file host

file upload

file upload software

file uploader

software program

upload files

windows software
<guid

It is usually faster than loading the website in a browser. Many software programs do also keep track of files that have been uploaded so that it becomes easier to manage the links that are created in the process.

File and Image Uploader (via Download Squad) is just one software program for that task. It supports the surprisingly large number of 70+ file upload sites on the Internet including the popular file hosters Rapidshare, Megaupload and Filefactory. It should also be mentioned that several premium services are supported as well if the user has access to a premium account.

It usually takes only a few clicks to upload a file to an image hoster. A click on the + sign in the software will display a file browser which can be used to select one or multiple files from the computer system. After that it is only a matter of selecting the right file host for the task to start the upload.

Premium account owners can specify that they want to use their premium account for the uploads. It is also possible to queue or pause the uploads and select to upload files or images. Possible restrictions of the currently select file hosts will be displayed in a form at the bottom.

The files will be added to the main interface and the upload progress will be displayed. The name of the file and the link to the upload host will be displayed once the upload has been completed. The embed codes of uploaded images will be displayed in the software as well. This ensures that all relevant information are displayed directly in the software program and that the links can be checked even at a later time. Parallel uploading is supported by File And Image Uploader.

Upload Multiple Files to Online File Storage Sites

Software

Windows

depositfile

file storage

file uploader

megaupload

pc software

rapidshare

yousendit

spread the files to various file storage sites. The software program File Uploader brings that and a bit more to Windows. The PC Software provides an easy to use interface to queue files and upload them to various file storage sites like Rapidshare, Yousendit or Depositfiles.

Multiple File Storage sites can be selected from the list which contains currently 32 different websites. Several test uploads to those File Storage sites revealed that several of them are not working correctly currently. An error message is displayed when that is happening.

A Successful upload to a file storage sites on the other hand writes an upload log which contains the links to the files uploaded. The software provides four options that can be checked, for instance to protect links by automatically using lix.in for it or to retry failed downloads.

Proxy Servers are supported as well as Premium accounts. The greatest benefit of File Uploader is that it is easy to use. It only takes a matter of seconds to start uploading to various file storage sites. Bad is that several sites are not working properly currently and that the files have to be uploaded to each file storage site separately.
