href="http://www.speakaboos.com">Speakaboo is one of those websites. It is a website for children and parents alike. It offers access to various stories for children which are narrated by professional speakers and animated as well.

The site offers those stories free of charge, anyone can watch them online without having to register first. Each story makes use of subtitles to make it easier for anyone to follow.

You find several popular stories on the website such as The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen or Cinderella. This website can keep English speaking kids (and parents) busy for many hours which might just be the thing needed during Christmas to keep the little brats quiet for some time. And it is something different than those degenerated Simpsons, Family Guy or Spongebob cartoons that parents let them usually watch.

<span
