Turrican was one of those games that made a huge impact when it came out. Originally developed and released for the Commodore 64, it was later on ported to various other systems including the Commodore Amiga, Atari ST and game consoles. Pushover [Game Saturday]
Push-Over was a platform puzzle type of game in the early Nineties. I cannot remember a lot about it but the fact that you seem to have played an ant and that I played it on the Commodore Amiga 500. The game combined aspects of a platform game with puzzle elements. Dominoes are placed on [...]

Create Screensavers from Youtube Videos
Not all screensavers are boring and useless. I discovered a way to create screensavers out of Youtube videos – or any other flash based videos – with ease. I first discovered a software called Instant Storm at the Donation Coder blog. Instant Storm creates screensavers from swf files (Shockwave Flash) and I knew that it was possible to convert the flv videos which Youtube uses to swf easily.

How to emulate an Amiga on your PC
I´am not sure if most of you will like this article or not. My second computer was an Amiga 500 which I used almost 100% for gaming. I loved many of the games that came out for that incredible machine and still yearn for some of them. I always wanted to play those games again but did not want to buy an Amiga because of several reasons. I don´t want to get into to much detail but it´s mainly a storage problem and a problem of availabilty. Sure, you can buy some cheap amigas on ebay and probably buy some games there as well, but most of the games are hard to come by this days.
Another World 2006
Some of you probably remember the 1991 classic Another World which was released on the Amiga system among others. I loved the game, it had fantastic animation and graphics for the time and it played just fine. Was pretty hard as well but I probably was not that good at playing games at that time. The game was using vector graphics and someone decided that it would be a nice idea to scale the vectors to offer a high res version of the game. You can see and download the results at the another world fanpage. Downloads are only available for pc but that should not be a problem for most. (with the amiga system being nearly dead and all)
