The freeware utility iPodWizard is a program for Microsoft Windows that lets you change the fonts, graphics and text of your iPod as well as the volume cap. (for European iPods). It´s also able to display hidden features for most iPods, those are:

Show voltage meter instead of battery
Show CPU usage in status bar
Force deep sleep mode when iPod shuts down
Disable Caching
Disable deep sleep mode

This is a great little freeware program, the ipodwizard website has a extensive list of tutorials that show you how to change settings. The website offers a way to add themes to your iPod as well, many popular themes like Star Wars, Halo 2 or South Park available.

It´s always good to know how your wireless network could be attacked and secure it accordingly. Cracking WEP and WPA Wireless Networks explains how to use aircrack and kismet to work with WEP encrypted networks as well as static passkey WPA or WPA-PSK.

You might already know what sql injection means, in case you did not i post the definition of wikipedia:

SQL injection is a security vulnerability that occurs in the database layer of an application. Its source is the incorrect escaping of dynamically-generated string literals embedded in SQL statements. It is in fact an instance of a more general class of vulnerabilities that can occur whenever one programming or scripting language is embedded inside another.

What does it mean in plain english ? You try to utilise instances of a website that submits data to the webserver, this could be for example a login page, a form field or a comments form.

Don´t you love those little tricks and tweaks that make life so much easier ? I love to download videos from google video for instance and save them as avi. A little trick does that. I also love to visit sites that let me download content without having to login or purchase a premium account. The site webshots.com has a database of more than 300 million pictures that you can browse and view as a thumbnail.

If you want to view some images in real size or download them you will have to log in. If you don´t you won´t see a picture. This is were the webshots photo catcher comes into play. It´s a website that has a form field that process webshots urls. You copy a url like this one, paste it into the form and hit get it. A download prompt for the full image appears and you are free to download it.
