Check if your website or feed is blocked in China

Some countries on earth are trying their best to keep their citizens from accessing the Internet freely out of fear that ideas of freedom and liberty would spread like wildfire throughout the country. China, notorious for blocking websites has started to realize that its citizens were able to read all those forbidden writings by simply accessing the feeds of those websites.

Blog Feed Dependencies

I would like to start an experiment and invite my ten most read blogs to take part in it. What I want to create is a blog feed dependency list which shows the top ten read blogs of all participating blogs. I start this by pinging and notifying the ten blogs that I read the most asking them to do the same.

Upgrading to Wordpress 2.3

I finally made the switch to Wordpress 2.3 after pondering for a little while if I should upgrade this early or wait until I was sure that everything would be still working after the switch. The major problem that I saw was the new tagging system that was build into Wordpress 2.3 which was incompatible with the tagging system of the prior versions and especially with the plugin that I have been using for over a year: Simple Tagging.
