Wallpapers. Can’t get enough of them. I have a folder with dozens of wallpapers on my hard drive and am always happy to find another excellent wallpaper website that I have not known before. Not all screensavers are boring and useless. I discovered a way to create screensavers out of Youtube videos – or any other flash based videos – with ease. I first discovered a software called Instant Storm at the Donation Coder blog. Instant Storm creates screensavers from swf files (Shockwave Flash) and I knew that it was possible to convert the flv videos which Youtube uses to swf easily.

I’m sometimes astonished as to what people sell at eBay. I always thought those video game collections that filled rooms where impressive but this music collection must be one of the largest sales ever on eBay. A collector is apparently selling his entire music collection on eBay which consists of more than 3 million records and 300000 CDs currently stored in a 16,000 square foot climate controlled warehouse.

I discovered a wonderful selection of wallpapers on Del.icio.us today which are definitely worth an article here at Ghacks. The wallpapers on Iunewind are colorful and simply different from most wallpapers that I have seen on typical wallpaper websites. The website currently hosts about 60 wallpapers which are most of the time available in different resolutions and sizes.

I recently came across a download that included several cbr files and I had to put my memory to the test to remember how I would be able to view them. CBR files are Comic Book Archive files that also come as cbz and cbt files. They are actually archives, like rar, zip or tar, that have been renamed to cbr. This has the advantage that a comic book can be distributed in one file that includes all the pages as images.
