A friend of mine asked me recently if I knew that it was possible to view real-time air traffic in Google Earth. I had to admit that I never heard about this before, the only thing that came close to it was the website where users could listen to live air traffic communications. He send me the link to the website which offered this service and told me that he was currently tracking a flight of a friend who was vising New Zealand.

Wallpapers. Can’t get enough of them. I have a folder with dozens of wallpapers on my hard drive and am always happy to find another excellent wallpaper website that I have not known before. This time it’s a website called Social Wallpapering which hosts a lot of wallpapers and does offer several unique features not known to any other wallpaper website out there.
Create Screensavers from Youtube Videos
Not all screensavers are boring and useless. I discovered a way to create screensavers out of Youtube videos – or any other flash based videos – with ease. I first discovered a software called Instant Storm at the Donation Coder blog. Instant Storm creates screensavers from swf files (Shockwave Flash) and I knew that it was possible to convert the flv videos which Youtube uses to swf easily.
