How do you transfer data between your iPod, Ipad or iPhone and a PC? Most will probably answer that they are using Apple iTunes for that. The iTunes software on the other hand is rather heavy on the resource side, and some users may prefer to use a lightweight faster software instead. That’s one of the main features of SyncPod for Windows.
The program can perform a variety of tasks, its major features are the following:
- Transfer music, movies and photos to apple devices
- Backup music, movies and photos to computer
- Share iPod music and movies with friends
- Recover iTunes Library in case computer crashed
The software program requires that a version of iTunes is installed on the computer system, and that an Apple device such as an iPod, iPad or iPhone is connected as well. If the pre-requisites are met it will display information about the connected device on the start screen.

All it takes to transfer data from the Apple device to the computer is to select the data that you want transferred, for instance all music or photos, and click the transfer button. The program will automatically do the transferring and syncing with iTunes for you. Files can also be transferred from the computer’s iTunes library to an Apple device in a similar way.
One interesting option is the ability to share music, photos or videos with another Apple device. Just connect the two devices to the computer and you are able to share data between them directly. That’s handy for families with multiple iPods, iPhones or Ipads for instance, dorms, work places or other locations.

Hi Martin, Thanks for a useful giveaway. I have an ipod nano, 8 gb, and I almost never use it due to iTunes, because it’s so heavy on my computer. I would be glad to win one of these licenses, I’m sure I would give more use to my ipod. Thanks in advance. Best regards.
I have a 5.5G, but I don’t want iTunes, so I’m currently using RockBox, but going back to the regular “iOS” (or what Apple calls it) would be great :-)
