CPALead is one of the biggests Cost Per Action advertising providers. Webmasters add the CPALead script to their website to display surveys to users. The surveys are usually displayed before content can be accessed on these websites, and the scripts have been designed to make it difficulty to bypass the surveys.
CPALead Remover is a new userscript that works in Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome. It can be used to automatically bypass CPALead surveys on websites that make use of this monetization option.
When users visit websites that use CPALead they are often directly confronted with the survey overlay. Below is an example of such an overlay window:
The overlay lists several surveys and a call to action. Users need to fill out a survey before they can access the contents of the website. Whenever that happens, the webmaster makes money.
CPALead Remover basically bypasses the survey completely, so that the contents of the site can be accessed directly and without having to fill out surveys or other annoyances.
The userscript works perfectly fine at the moment, it is however likely that CPALead will alter their scripts so that the userscript will no longer be able to bypass CPAlead surveys. It is a cat-and-mouse-game.
