Microsoft has just released the first beta of their upcoming Internet Explorer 9 web browser. The standard installer is offered as a web installer, which means that data needs to be downloaded during installation to complete it on the operating system.
That’s obviously a problem for some users, especially those with slow or unreliable Internet connections, and then those who want to install Internet Explorer 9 on a computer without direct Internet connection.
Microsoft has made available offline installers for Internet Explorer 9, that do not require an Internet connection during installation.
Internet Explorer 9 offline installers can be downloaded from this location. Microsoft lists all supported languages and operating systems on that page.
Downloads on the site are also provided in Arabic, Chinese Hong Kong, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romania, Slovenian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian. The offline installers have a size of about 33 Megabytes, and it seems that only a few Vista 64-bit language editions are offered.
The very same page offers downloads for the additional display languages Catalan, Hindi, Indonesian and Vietnamese. Finally, Windows Server languages are offered in Chinese, English, Hebrew and Slovenian.
