The Opera desktop team has released Opera 10.62, an update to the stable branch of the web browser. Opera 10.62 has been released after a series of snapshots and release candidates. We kept track of those releases in the forum.
Opera 10.62 is a security and stability update, and therefor recommended for all users of the 10.6x branch. This release fixes for instance the recently discovered dll hijack vulnerability in Windows. The majority of enhancements improves the stability of the browser. The team has fixed several issues where Opera would unexpectedly close, for instance when searching on websites or while viewing bodyless documents in accessibility mode.
The team has also fixed the missing images bug in free previews and added fastmail and hotmail UK to the email auto configuration in Opera Mail.

Opera 10.62 is as usual available for all supported operating systems. Downloads are provided at the Opera website. Users who are already running a version of Opera 10.6x can also update the browser by clicking on Help > Check for Updates.
