Uninstall Software Completely With IObit Uninstaller

Quite a few programs offer uninstallation functionality that goes beyond what the official Windows software uninstall offers. Revo Uninstaller comes for instance to mind when users want to make sure that the default uninstall routine that the software uses clears all traces of it from the computer system. Many programs leave traces of the program on the system, often in places like the Windows Registry, start menu or the installation directory.

IObit Uninstaller is another application that tackles those uninstallation leftovers. The portable software uninstaller displays a list of installed programs in its interface. The sidebar contains several other useful shortcuts to only list toolbars, programs that have been recently installed, large programs, rarely used software and Windows Updates.

The option to list recently installed software is nice for someone who reviews software on a daily basis.

Installed programs are listed with their name, size and installation date in the interface. A search on top can be used in case lots of software is installed on the PC.

Checkboxes in front of every program entry can be used to select multiple programs for uninstallation at once.

IObit Uninstaller supports both normal and advanced uninstallations. A forced uninstall option is provided as well in case the uninstaller offered by the application itself is not available or working anymore.

The advanced uninstaller performs the same routine that Revo Uninstaller performs. It begins by starting the default software uninstaller of each selected program. The user has to follow the uninstaller until it finishes.

The powerful scan will afterwards scan the system for leftovers. Leftovers that are found are then displayed so that they can be kept on the system or deleted.

All file and Registry leftovers are displayed in this menu. IObit Uninstaller handles this step better than Revo Uninstaller as it lists the entries directly.

IObit Uninstaller creates a system restore point before the uninstallation is started to give the user an option to restore the settings if something went wrong during uninstallation.

The manage menu in the program interface holds options to export a list of installed applications, manage the log files that the program automatically creates and to start System Restore.

IObit Uninstaller is an excellent program to uninstall software in Windows. Its leftover scanner ensures that no entries of the uninstalled program remain on the computer system.

The portable software program is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows. The download is offered at the developer’s website.

      • charles says:

I am gonna say the latest version of Uninstaller really performances much much better than what I have expected.

    • joyidea says:

?? I have been used this software, it is cool to do things as it promises.

    • paul says:

      • lily chen says:

I do not believe this! I have used IObit’s products for a long time and they all work pretty well. How can you see the problem? Anyway, I have tried Uninstaller and I find it great and I can not tell a problem. It is smart, easy and powerful!

    • Maikehanmu says:

    • kisscat says:

r u kidding me,dude? they stolen code from others? do you have the common sense? do you know how to produce a software? please give objective evaluation, if not, just shut up and get out of here. i hate people who don’t know to respect others!!!

    • MichelleinPC says:

guys, no kidding words. Stupid! I’d like to see its advantages in functions. I think it is smart.

I refuse to use software from IObit, they store malware bytes virus database and used it in their own product without giving credit, then denied the event even though their software was picking up non-viruses that were produced in-house for testing purposes by malware bytes.

    LIVE THIS ONE DOWN GUYS!

    • Anonymous says:

they should do that with windoze and mac

    • william says:

You know, it is a great loss if you refuse IObit. Outstanding Software it is great and the support is also great . I was very impressed with everything about this product and I am VERY, VERY, SATISFIED.

how is this different (if any) from Revo Uninstaller? I’ve used Revo for a long time and love it.

    • Daisy says:

let me answer you what’s the differences between them. iobit installer’s interface is beautiful and cool. and it’s user-friendly. iobit installer is really a great tool. i like it very much..

    • Martin says:

The only real difference that I found was the mentioned leftover scan which uses a better (and less error prone) display in IObit Uninstaller. I also like the categories. Revo Uninstaller on the other hand comes with a few tools that IOBit misses (tracks cleaner, autostart manager). Both are good in my opinion and there is little reason to switch from one to the other. (I did not compare cleaning efficiency on the other hand, both seem to clean pretty accurately)

  4. Anonymous says:

Hey GHacks, imma let you finish, but Revo Uninstaller is the best way to “Uninstall Software Completely”, of all time.

    Of all time.

  5. LOve says:

stupid spammer, is there a way to steal codes? Absolutely no! unless staff of B company sneaked into C company, open their computer, and copy it down.

If codes can be stolen, then many people have the codes of Windows !!!!!

    I love this uninstaller.Baby

    • Terri says:

totally agree with you, dude. Let those idiots know how shallow they are!

    • Anonymous says:

Just to clarify, they stole (used without credit, whatever) the virus database, not the program “code”.

Anyone who wants it can download the latest DB from malware bytes but i’d say using the database they put all that effort into without even giving them credit is wrong.

If Norton were using AVGs virus DB, it would be a big deal…

  6. Xman says:

iobit uninstaller is extraordinarily excellent!! i found it at iobit’s advanced systemcare, an extraordinarily excellent too. and it can uninstall the unnecessary software according to my choose and it scans leftover items in the registry and hard drive. THX!!

  7. Hianne says:

iobit’s products are indeed great. i uses iobit installer. it’s convenient and helpful. i never uninstall the application without my conscent. lol..

  8. max says:

    All about IOBit Theft Conclusion:

    http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=33217

“Some weeks ago we presented evidence demonstrating that the Chinese company IObit had stolen Malwarebytes’ database and incorporated it into their software…”

    • Mrwhy says:

We can only focus on the function of this product. To be honest, this product perfomances well on the uninstallment of unwanted software.

  9. Mike J says:

I will stick with Revo. Its registry detritus cleaner has yet to steer me wrong.

  10. Marry Shelly says:

I have been using this software since its first version and I find it exactly what I need. Come on IObit Uninstaller, I will stand by you forever!

  11. Victoria says:

I have been using IObit’s products for a long time and I find they’re good. Uninstaller is very useful, it helps me remove many stubborn software with little efforts. I support it.

  12. giantslor says:

IObit stole MalwareBytes’ malware definition signatures for use in their own product. This is a proven fact, so ignore the losers above getting all defensive.

I’ll still try this application to see how it stacks up against Revo.
