Adobe released an update for their popular pdf reader Adobe Reader a few days ago that fixed several security vulnerabilities in the program. Most Adobe Reader installations should have picked up the new version automatically thanks to the new updating mechanism that Adobe has added to the application recently. Computer users who work with Adobe Reader Lite, a custom version of the program with less components but better performance, on the other hand are not able to use this update mechanism. It usually takes a few days after an update of Adobe Reader before a new Adobe Reader Lite version is released by its developers.
The new Adobe Reader 9.3.2 Lite has now been released and is available for download from various free file hosting sites. We recommend to check the program with an updated antivirus application to make sure that is it clean and usable.
Adobe Reader 9.3.2 Lite is offered as a portable standalone version of Adobe Reader, something that Adobe is not offering as the 9.3.2 update is only provided as an update and not a standalone version. The Adobe Reader download at the official Adobe website still links to version 9.3 of the pdf reader and users who download that version need to make sure to install the updates immediately to protect their computer system.

Don’t bother. It’s in russian.
Now the link does not work. I would be inclined to go back to Adobe PDF Reader when they produce a 64-bit version.
I’m happy with Foxit Reader. It’s fast and free. The step up with typewriter feature is really nice, but costs $. A ton less than Adobe though.
I recommend PDF-XChange Viewer. Supports tabs and is fast to load.
i’m finding acrobat reader a bit unreliable lately on customers pcs. unable to print pdf’s, 100% cpu usage printing some documents. some of the updates are effecting DEP it feels.
i’ve started using foxit reader. seems like a cleaner app.
Please don’t point out software that is hidden behind a scam to get you to subscribe to their “free downloads.” Or at least tell us that it will cost something.
No scam going on there. You can for instance use the mirror at Depositfiles (listed on the release page) to download the new version for free. http://depositfiles.com/en/files/0ykin3ds1. Your eyes were probably fixated on the fast download links. Look above them.
