The computer system environment comparison software can compare environment variables, 400 Internet Explorer settings, network configuration settings, installed software, operating system, processor, startup commands and process lists.
The program will automatically scan the current computer system and display the settings in the interface. These settings can be exported and imported so that the results can be compared with each other easily.
The two environment settings are displayed in two columns next to each other with colors highlighting the similarities and differences.
The information of each computer system are displayed in four tabs (environment variables, processes, network configuration and installed software) to make them more accessible.
A right-click on an environment variable makes it possible to edit, delete and merge that parameter easily.
ENVy makes it very easy and comfortable to compare computer system settings, a process that would take a multiple of the time when done manually.
The software is offered for download as a 32-bit and 64-bit edition. Both editions are compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. ENVy requires the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 redistributable package to be installed on the computer system.
